Since 2016…
- The Thighs of Steel fam has cycled about 48,000 miles (77,000km)
- 30,000 miles of this total was during Covid lockdown of 2020, when we cycled Around The World with Choose Love. The other 18,000 miles comes from our five rides to Athens (2016-2019 and 2022)
- 490 wonderful Thighsers have cycled with us so far, hopefully rising to at least 580 after this year’s voyage
- 286 of these humans have so far cycled on our relay to Athens. The others joined our pandemic-friendly Around The World or Spell It Out rides
- 100 of these 490 alumni have cycled with us more than once, including 62 who have cycled to Athens with us more than once and 22 who have done it at least three times. Ridiculous
- As of December 2022, Thighs of Steel cyclists have helped raise £632,223 to support refugees and asylum seekers in the UK, Europe and beyond. This year, we’re aiming to raise at least £80,000 more!
